I’m a Vancouver Elopement Photographer who loves to travel and explore BC. Elopements hold a special place in my heart. It’s a day for just you and your love. It’s an intimate and special thing to be a part of, you and the small wedding of your dreams with the ones that are closest to you. Who says you have to have this huge party?
Now, I am not the elopement photographer that is going to be screaming and loud to try to get your attention (that’s why I don’t photograph big weddings). I’m going to be there, as a calming presence to observe and photograph. Any issue comes up? I’ll help take care of that. Want to hike to the top of a mountain for sunrise? I’ll pack my bag. Have questions about a specific elopement photo location? I’ll answer them (and if I can’t I will do the research for you).
This is a super special elopement I photographed last month. Dylan and Riley had to postpone their wedding due to covid multiple times but the day they ended up with was nothing short of perfect. They held their elopment at their own house and took photos with the breathtaking backdrop of the waters edge.
Salt Spring Island is a gorgeous venue just a three hour ferry ride from Vancouver in the Gulf Islands. It’s a natural and beautiful island filled with artisans, hiking trails, yogis, and a vibrant cafe culture. Walking down the streets in the summer you will find wild blackberries ripe for the taking and little secret pockers of beach and clear water rock edges. It’s a refreshing escape from the mainland and Vancouver and perfect for a close destination wedding or Elopement for Vancouver couples.
